Root Vegetable Puzzle with 7 veggies:
I designed this puzzle with all of the under-appreciated root vegetables in mind. (minus the carrot – the carrot always get all of the glory). Anyway…back to the description.. Root vegetables are an important part of our diet and it can be challenging for a child to visualize what they look like when they are growing ‘in the ground’.
This delightful and colorful puzzle features a carrot, turnip, radish, potato, beet, sweet potato and onion. The potatoes sit under the ‘ground’ and all of the other veggies are showing their tops above the ‘ground’. Each of the veggies (minus the potatoes) are complete with green yarn to create the leaves/stems. I also wanted to show the relative difference in shape, size and color of these 5 root vegetables. The puzzle is perfect for little hands as it is easy to pick up the pieces and fit them into the ‘dirt’.

Fruit Tree Puzzle:
I designed this puzzle to compliment our Root Vegetable Puzzles. Fruits are an important part of our diet, and can be difficult for children to visualize how our food grows and where it comes from.
This delightful and colorful puzzle features a fruit-bearing tree ‘growing’ an apple, orange, peach, plum, pear, lemon and lime. I also wanted to show the relative difference in shape, size and color of these 7 fruits. The simple puzzle is perfect for little hands as it is easy to pick up the pieces and fit them into the tree.

Fruit Tree Puzzle is approximately 10.25″ x 9.75″ x 1″

Berry Bush Puzzle:
I designed this puzzle to expand on our original Root Veggie Puzzle and Fruit Tree Puzzle. Fruits and vegetables are an important part of our diet and it can be challenging for a child to visualize what they look like when they are growing.
This delightful and colorful puzzle features a Blueberry, Blackberry, Strawberry, Cranberry, Gooseberry, and Raspberry. Each of the berries have their own unique shape and color. The puzzle is perfect for little hands as it is easy to pick up the pieces and fit them on the bush.

Berry Bush Puzzle is approximately 9″x 6.5″ x 1″

Climbing Vine Puzzle:
I designed this puzzle to expand on our original Root Veggie Puzzle and Fruit Tree Puzzle. Fruits and vegetables are an important part of our diet and it can be challenging for a child to visualize what they look like when they are growing ‘on the vine’.
This delightful and colorful puzzle features a Cucumber, Peas, Eggplant, Tomato, Pumpkin and Grapes. Each of the fruits and veggies have their own unique shape and color. I also wanted to show the relative difference in shape and size of these 6 fruits/vegetables. The puzzle is perfect for little hands as it is easy to pick up the pieces and fit them on the vine.

Climbing Vine Puzzle is approximately 11.5″x 7″ x 1″

Each puzzle is machine cut, hand sanded and stained with various non-toxic paints or natural stain and sealed with a coating of food grade mineral oil. Since each puzzle is hand made and every piece of wood takes stain differently, variations in size, shape and color are to be expected.
