Fruit Tree Puzzle

Description

I designed this puzzle to compliment our Root Vegetable Puzzles. Fruits are an important part of our diet, and can be difficult for children to visualize how our food grows and where it comes from.
This delightful and colorful puzzle features a fruit-bearing tree ‘growing’ an apple, orange, peach, plum, pear, lemon and lime. I also wanted to show the relative difference in shape, size and color of these 7 fruits. The simple puzzle is perfect for little hands as it is easy to pick up the pieces and fit them into the tree.

The entire puzzle is machine cut and stained with various non-toxic paints and stain, and finished with a coating of food grade mineral oil. Since each puzzle is hand finished and every piece of wood takes stain differently, variations in size, shape and color are to be expected.

Each finished piece is approximately 10.25″x9.75″x1″
